Ideal for Scary Movies

This is the type of song I would expect to hear at the beginning of a horror film, therefore it's perfect for Madness Day. It's the right length to be used like that. I think it's very creative. The EQ isn't actually that bad, in fact it's pretty good for my speakers. It would be a shame if this weren't used in a flash.

Step responds:

Thanks for the support man. I'm really glad it sounds like something you might hear in a Madness Flash, since that was my main focus in this track.

I doubt this'll be used in a flash because of the quiet intro, but like I said in the author's comments, I'd be glad to loop it if people want it for their flash.

Thanks again for the review!

EDIT: I've got to say that I've just heard some of your songs. Really good stuff, keep up the great work!

Awesome

I just stumbled onto this song and was really impressed. It's catchy. I can definitely picture it on the radio, or on my ipod. My only gripe is that I wish it had more bass. The vocals are sweet. Great song!

ERAmatica responds:

Hey thanks a lot for the review!!! Im really glad you liked it! Please tell others of my music so hopefully I can eventually make my way to the radio, at least with my beats anyway! As for the bass, if you have a car with subs, trust me, there is plenty of bass :P anyway thanks again for the review and your support!!

Beautiful

I can definitely see this fitting in a video game. It's soft and flows nicely, and it perfectly invokes a pensive feeling. I also love what you did with the flute! I have a hard time coming up with stuff for woodwinds, so I'm always impressed when I hear somebody who can do it so well. This sounds like it's going somewhere great, and I'd love to hear the whole thing when you get your computer fixed!

AshleyAlyse responds:

Thank you very much! :D I appreciate your review. :) I actually lost this song and many others... They were in a folder on my computer desktop and my brother randomly decided to delete that folder since he was upset with me. :/ But I'll see what I can do to remake it sometime. :)

Impressive

I like this song. The vocals are nice and clear. The female vocals sound distant when you're singing together, maybe it's intentional, but I'm just pointing it out. The transition after the guitar solo is a bit sudden. Overall it's good! You've got a lot of potential! I'm guessing you recorded the drums and guitar separately? That's hard to do, and you pulled it off well. I did stuff like this in high school, and this song kicks the crap out of what we did.

Hyperius responds:

Thanks for the review! The reason she sounds more distant is because she can actually sing and sings far away from the mic, to balance out her belting, I on the other hand, suck at singing and sing really close and quietly. Thinking back, I could have definitely added more build-up to the guitar. Thanks again, glad you enjoyed it.

Nicely done

This is some exceptional work within Garage Band. The accuracy is spot on. You should add vocals!

Morien18 responds:

*Sigh* If only my vocals didn't suck ass on a mic... I tried so damn hard and wound up getting so angry at myself. I might try again soon.
